During our stay we had the displeasure of 1-1/2 days of some very fierce storms, the same storms that created tornadoes in Yazoo, MS. While at the beach during a storm you have a few options; shop, eat, or watch movies. We already ate more than our fill; steamed shrimp from Brunos yum, Alaska king crab legs from King Neptune, and our favorite The Oyster House (GREAT place). We had planed to go back to our room and catch a movie on their pay per view movie network. The ads for this network boosted of 24 hour viewing, pause & play & replay as many times in the 24 hours as you wish. We watched the previews, picked our movie, and waited and waited. I later called the desk to see if we were doing something wrong and was informed that the system is temporarily down. The next day we tried again and waited and waited. I went down to the front desk and was told that the system is not installed completely yet. Great for the economy but not so good for our wallets; yes we went shopping. The room and the accommodations were top of the line. The room it self had very nice décor, extremely comfortable bed and bedding, very spacious room, over all wonderful place. We would stay again, IF the movie network is working in case of bad weather.

This is brand new and my gps could not find it, but when I walked in they greeted me. The front desk clerk was nice even though they only had 1(one) but she was nice. The room was clean to the T. It is like 5 mins away from the beach. It was a little tough turning onto the busy street but it was ok. The breakfast was good there are plenty of place to eat just ibn that area. I would stay there again. If you wanted sleep that is the place to go.

I stayed here for one night while I was in town on business. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pillows on the bed had covers that let you know if the pillow was firm or fluffy (can't remember exact terms.) Bathrooms were a good size, but it took a few minutes before the hot water kicked in for the shower. Bath products were nice. I liked that the room had a little sink area outside the bathroom and also had a microwave and mini-fridge. The location is just a little ways down from the beach (you would have to drive to get there) and the property is new and in great shape. Continental breakfast here was good too.

This hotel was just fabulous. I was a little leary at first but as soon as I arrived I felt at ease. The hotel room was spacious and very clean. I loved the breakfast, great amount of food. And more than expected. The staff was so helpful and were very available anytime we needed them.Most definately recommend this hotel and I dont ever write these reviews but I felt the need to give Holiday Inn & Suites a great review.
